Energy transition courses
In the Netherlands we want to prevent the earth from heating up further. That is why it has been agreed in the climate agreement that a switch will be made to a sustainable energy supply. Part of the law is a target of 49% less CO emissions in 2030 compared to 1990. This transition, the energy transition, includes not only the aim of using as many renewable energy sources as possible, but also more attention to new possibilities for energy storage and decentralized energy generation.
You can say that Kiwa specializes in energy transitions. As early as the 1960s, we helped the Netherlands switch to natural gas, which is why it is only natural that we are now at the forefront of the development of new sustainable energy systems. At Kiwa, we work today on tomorrow's energy solutions. Whether it concerns the testing and certification of heat pumps and solar panels, the analysis of sustainable gases and their materials or the application of hydrogen in the existing gas network and in the automotive sector.
Knowledge partner energy transition
Kiwa can rightfully call itself a knowledge partner in the field of the energy transition. We are happy to share this knowledge with technicians, installers, policy makers and other professionals in the energy sector. We do this with an extensive training program on the energy transition and sustainable energy systems. Just like the energy transition, Kiwa is also in full swing in this regard and the range of training courses is continuously expanded. At the moment we only offer our services in Dutch on our website. For more information, please contact NL.training@kiwa.nl.
