Aerosol fire extinguishing systems are being used more frequently, such as in the storage of chemicals, batteries, and accumulators. To minimize operational risks, resellers and installers of such aerosol systems must have solid foundational knowledge. You can acquire that knowledge with our e-learning Aerosol System Knowledge.
Would you like to take the e-learning in Dutch? You can book the Dutch-language e-learning here.
Aerosol fire suppression systems are fire protection systems that use aerosol technology to combat fires. These systems generate a fine mist of solid aerosol particles (usually potassium compounds) that extinguish fires by suppressing flames through negative catalysis.
Would you like to expand your knowledge of aerosol systems? You can with the e-learning Aerosol System Knowledge.
The e-learning is intended for system experts and designers of aerosol fire suppression systems, also referred to as aerosol design and system engineers. These professionals work at fire protection companies and are responsible for designing aerosol fire suppression systems in accordance with standards and guidelines.
This is a vocational education course at Dutch mbo level (secondary vocational education).
The e-learning will take approximately 6-8 hours to complete. A prerequisite for taking this e-learning is knowledge of fire and fire Safety. Additionally, knowledge and experience in the design of fire alarm systems, such as through a completed Projecteringsdeskundige Brandmeldinstallaties (Fire Alarm System Design Expert) course, is considered an advantage.
The e-learning is available for 6 months after the start of the training.
The following topics are covered in the e-learning:
Upon completion of the e-learning Aerosol System Knowledge, participants will receive a certificate of participation.
There is no specific exemption policy for this training.
