For example, for products or services for which there is no existing standard.

Process steps

When you apply for an innovation certificate with Kiwa, we start by making an inventory of the quality claims of your product. Because what will ultimately be certified depends on your wishes, you will receive a quotation based upon your request. 
 
We start by drawing up a theory certificate in which all the claims are stated. Initially we start with the 1st audit, during this audit the quality claims will be tested. 
 
After approval of the claim(s) and granting of the Innovation Certificate it will be published on the Kiwa website. During the certification process the following applies:
  • The audit frequency is at least once a year at the applicant's/producer's site;
  • The Innovation Certificate will be checked for content and validity, including the execution of any tests.
