Kiwa FSS Products is able to provide three types of certification under the Alarm Components Schemes.

  • System 1a – Type-Examination Certificate
  • System 2 – Certificate of Conformity
  • System 5 – Certificate of Continued Compliances

Inspection or system certification according System 5 means that that you product needs to retested every two years or needs to be inspected every year and your production factory needs to be inspected every year.

After an inspection, a report is made which states if the inspected product still represents the product on its issued certificate or - if not - what should be done to correct this. Also, after inspection of your production facility the report states if the facility still complies to the quality standards and if the product is still produced like the first time when it was introduced.

This option provides you with a Certificate of Continued Compliances. The Certificate of Continued Compliance under this Alarm Components Scheme is meeting the requirements of all countries where testing to EN standards under ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and certification to EN standards under ISO/ IEC 17065 accreditation for intruder components and systems is required.
