What does the BRCGS certification process look like?
- Submit your certification application to Kiwa VERIN;
- Together we determine the scope and categories of your audit;
- You will then receive a quotation from us;
- After signing the quotation, we schedule an audit (exception for announced audits);
- We prepare an audit plan and an audit program in advance;
- The auditor conducts an on-site assessment of all production processes and departments, as well as the administrative and organizational procedures. This includes evaluation from the shop floor to senior management;
- The auditor collects evidence of sufficient implementation of the standard criteria. Any deficiencies are immediately discussed with you;
- If necessary, you draw up an improvement plan to address any non-conformities. This can be supplemented with evidence showing that improvement measures have been implemented;
- All findings, including the improvement plan, are recorded in the audit report;
- The certification manager reviews the audit report and makes the certification decision, including the level/grade of the certificate;
- If the result is positive, you receive the certificate and a detailed report. The certificate has a validity period, depending on the standard and the achieved level/grade.
