BRL-K614 published for criticism

Effective July 2, 2024 the newly drawn up BRL-K614 is published for review and comments. BRL-K614 contains the requirements for a product certificate for "Fire hydrants”.

This new BRL includes:

• Product requirements for Fire hydrants;
• Requirements for suitability for contact with drinking water;
• References to ensure this BRL aligns with accreditation requirements according to BS EN ISO/IEC 17065:2012.

Submission of criticism

The Board of Experts (CWK) allows a review period of 6 weeks from the date of this publication for comments. Interested parties are invited to submit their feedback on this draft evaluation guideline within the specified period via the comment form attached and send it by email to the contact person listed below.
