Withdrawal EN 13611:2015/AC:2016 Standard

Kiwa would like to inform you about the following date of withdrawal (DOW) of below standard:

EN 13611:2015/AC:2016 “Safety and control devices for burners and appliances burning gaseous and/or liquid fuels - General requirements” (DOW September 2019) is replaced by EN 13611:2019 (approved March 2019)

As you might know, it is mandatory for the GAR (Gas Appliance Regulation) that a product is in compliance with the essential requirements in such a way that it takes into account the state of the art, reasonably foreseeable use and current practice at the time of design and manufacture. For some appliance designs, the replacement of these standards by the new version and the passing of the DOW of previous version may be an indication of a change in the state of the art and current practice.
