Kiwa Italia between conventional and renewable energy sources
Kiwa Italia's experience in the gas sector, gained since the opening of the dedicated laboratory in 1994 in San Vendemiano, has over the years enabled the company to position itself on the Italian market as a leader in the CE certification of appliances using gaseous fuels, which was later joined by solid fuels (2007), flue gas and numerous other product categories.
Since the early 2000s, as the market's interest in the world of renewables grew, Kiwa Italia dedicated itself to the Certification of Products for the solar sector by setting up a laboratory in Legnano (MI), later expanded to Cormano (MI), thus becoming over the years a reference point for testing and certification activities on: Photovoltaic and Thermal Solar Panels, Thermo-photovoltaic, Inverters, Thermal Solar Collectors and Boilers, Renewable Generators and Grid Connections.
Kiwa's commitment to renewables was also confirmed in 2019, with the acquisition of Moroni & Partners, among the largest Energy Engineering structures in Italy, which, to complete the portfolio of services already provided in the Renewable Energy sector, provides Energy Engineering, Technical Advisory and Asset Management services.
The acquisition of Moroni & Partners has strengthened the positioning of the entire Kiwa group in the energy sector, thanks to the acquisition of skills, resources and experience for national and international development, but above all underlining Kiwa's growth objective in the direction of renewable and alternative energies.
