Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) Level 2 Certificate in Passive Fire Protection is comprised of 4 non-consecutive training days as follows:
An examination must be booked separately via the Institution of Fire Engineers.
The training is delivered in a series of 1-day lectures ranged over a two-week period, and offers a foundation in fire safety and fire science as well as units on different forms of passive fire protection.
There will be an optional Exam Practice Day (Date TBC). This is subject to additional cost not covered by the course fees and can be booked at any time throughout the course.
This qualification will be appropriate for individuals who are directly engaged in installing passive fire protection measures or who work with equipment and materials relevant to passive fire protection measures.
