The objective of the qualification is to provide learners with the knowledge necessary to be an integral part of a HACCP (hazard analysis and critical control point) team in manufacturing and other related industries, for example those involved in distribution and storage.
Delegates will learn about the preliminary processes for HACCP-based food safety procedures and how to develop, implement and verify these procedures.
The qualification is aimed at learners who are already working in food manufacturing with a sound knowledge of food hazards and controls.
There are no prerequisites for this qualification although Level 2 HACCP or Level 3 Food Safety or equivalent is recommended.
By the end of the course delegates will demonstrate understanding of the importance of HACCP-based food safety management procedures, and how to develop, implement and verfify these procedures.
The course price is exclusive of VAT and there's also a £56.25 + VAT Highfield Exam and Certificate issue fee.
The two-day course can be delivered remotely via Zoom or in-house if there's a group of delegates (at a cost of £2,875 + VAT per day).
