The CAI certification scheme stipulates the minimum standards of technical performance of coaxial cables, based on the specific requirements; for satisfactory reception and network distribution of signals from terrestrial or satellite transmissions. CAI certification is a standard that is commonly specified within many installation contracts.
On behalf of the CAI, we can manage the CAI certification process for you, performing a series of electrical and mechanical tests on the manufactures sample of cables to demonstrate compliance with one of seven suitable cable specifications, issuing a test report and certificate of test. Upon notification that a new cable has passed the CAI Certification, the CAI will add the cable to the CAI Cable Certification List on the CAI website.
Kiwa Electrical Compliance can also verify ongoing batch quality by conducting tests either on site or in our laboratory.
