Argentina
31 May 2023 - Further to the KPC Regulatory Update of 24th May 2023 regarding the allocation of the 6GHz frequency range (5925 – 7125 MHz), the Argentina Regulator – Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) – have published Resolución 756/2023 which establishes the technical conditions for this band.
24 May 2023 - Argentina Regulator – Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) – have published a press release announcing the allocation of the 6GHz frequency range (5925 – 7125 MHz).
22 May 2023 - Argentina Regulator – Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) – has updated the RAMATEL labelling guidelines through Resolution 586/2023, published on 10th May 2023.
13 January 2023 - The RF regulator- Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM)- in Argentina published Resolución 2386/2022 on 27th December 2022.

Australia
23 November 2023 - On 16th November 2023, the Australia Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) published an outcomes paper for a consultation on replanning of the 1880-1920 MHz band.
This consultation, which was opened on 17th November 2021, explored future use of the 1880-1920 MHz band and sought comments on possible changes in planning arrangements.10 November 2023 - On 8th November 2023, the Australia Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) opened a public consultation on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) regulatory arrangements.
07 September 2023 - On 16th August 2023, the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) opened a consultation regarding the 1.5 GHz band: Extended MSS L-band. ACMA are seeking feedback on options to support use of the 1518–1525 MHz and 1668–1675 MHz frequency ranges by mobile satellite services.
18 April 2023 - On 23 February 2023, the Australian Regulator – Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) released 3 new regulations:
1. Radiocommunications Equipment (General) Amendment Rules 2023 (No. 1)
2. Radiocommunications (Low Interference Potential Devices) Class Licence Variation 2023 (No.1)

Telecommunications Legislation Amendment (Significant) Instrument (No.1) 202331 March 2023 - On 29th March 2023, Australian Regulator, Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), released a public consultation regarding proposed updates to future spectrum management and allocation of frequencies over the next 5 years.

Bahamas
23 May 2023 - The Bahamas Regulator – The Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority (URCA) – have issued a Public Consultation on the Demand for Enhanced Internet Connectivity and 5G in the country. The aim of the public consultation is to develop a more in-depth understanding of the current and potential future demand and use cases for enhanced internet connectivity and 5G services in The Bahamas.

08 February 2023 - On 2nd February 2023, the Belize Authority - Public Utilities Commission - issued a public consultation regarding the use of the 3300 – 3800 MHz frequency band (5G band n78) in the country.

01 December 2023 - On 22nd November 2023, the Bhutan Infocomm and Media Authority (BICMA) issued a notification to the public that the Bhutan Telecom Limited (BTL) is in the process of shutting down the 3G base station in its network.

Bolivia
06 November 2023 - The Bolivian RF Regulator – Autoridad de Regulación y Fiscalización de Telecomunicaciones y Transportes (ATT) – have issued an updated Type Approval Regulation with Resolution ATT-DJ-RAR-TL LP 443/2023, replacing previous Regulation ATT-DJ-RA TL 1022/2013.

Botswana
29 March 2023 - On 27th February 2023, the Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA) issued draft copies of the new Type Approval guidelines, technical standards, and technical specifications of communications equipment in Botswana on their website.
28 February 2023 - On 24th February 2023, the Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA) issued a notification to stakeholders, informing of their plan to review current Type Approval guidelines, procedures, and the technical specifications of communications equipment in Botswana.

Brazil
19 September 2023 - Further to the KPC Regulatory Update from 04 May 2022 regarding Act 5159, concerning test procedures and technical requirements for cell phone chargers, Brazilian Regulator – Agência Nacional De Telecomunicações (ANATEL) – released Ato No. 13011 which postpones the enforcement date of Articles 2 and 3 of Ato 5159 to 18 April 2024.
21 July 2023 - Further to the KPC Regulatory Update from 16th January 2023 regarding a Public Consultation on Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) test requirements for telecommunication products, Brazil Regulator – Agência Nacional De Telecomunicações (ANATEL) – have published new regulation ACT No. 7971 of 22nd June 2023.
28 March 2023 - On 7th March 2023, Brazilian Regulator - Agência Nacional De Telecomunicações (ANATEL) released Act 2436, introducing new cybersecurity requirements for certification of Customer Premises Equipment (CPE).
03 March 2023 - On 1st March 2023, Brazilian Regulator - Agência Nacional De Telecomunicações (ANATEL) released public consultation no. 10 concerning test procedures and technical requirements for Electromagnetic Compatibility tests.
16 January 2023 - On 9th January 2023, Brazilian Regulator – Agência Nacional De Telecomunicações (ANATEL) – published Public Consultation No. 81 regarding Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) test requirements for telecommunication products.
13 January 2023 - On 27th December 2022, Brazilian Regulator – Agência Nacional De Telecomunicações (ANATEL) – published new Act 17087 regarding electrical safety testing of telecommunication products.

British Virgin Islands
02 February 2023 - Further to the KPC Regulatory Update of 25 March 2022 regarding the publication consultation concerning the Public Consultation on the Type Approval Regulatory Framework (TARF), the British Virgin Islands Authority – Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) – have published a second public consultation on the updated draft of this Framework.

China
04 December 2023 - Following the KPC Regulatory Update of 2nd June 2023, the Radio Management Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China has officially issued an announcement on 28th November 2023, outlining the technical requirements and test methods for Wireless LAN devices that support IEEE 802.11be.
16 October 2023 - Following the KPC Regulatory Update of 06th June 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China recently announced on 13th October that Wireless LAN Devices applying for SRRC certification must undergo IPv6 testing, starting from 1st December 2023.
11 September 2023 - On 5th September 2023, the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the P.R.C (CNCA) published an announcement No. 36 regarding a revised list of the China Compulsory Certification (CCC), dividing the 96 products in 16 categories. With the new announcement, the description and definition form of the compulsory product certification catalogue as published in announcement No. 18 of 2020 is consequently eliminated.
06 September 2023 -
1- On 31st August 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China officially announced that updates to the SRRC certificate format and CMIIT ID coding rules will come into effect on 1st December 2023.
2- On 18th August 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China opened a public consultation on the guidelines for the construction of a new infrastructure standard system for Internet of Things (2023 Edition) and invited the stakeholders to share their comments before 18th September 2023.
15 August 2023 - On 8th August 2023, the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the P.R.C (CNCA) issued an announcement, outlining measures to improve the management of China Compulsory Certification (CCC) certificates and marks. This announcement will come into effect from 1st January 2024.
07 August 2023 - On 19th July 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China opened a public consultation on enhancing terminal-network collaboration for the advancement of 5G messaging.
05 July 2023 -1) On 29th June 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) issued the new requirements of Network Access License (NAL) labelling marks, and it has been mandatory implemented on 1st July 2023.
2) The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has issued a revised version of “Regulation of the People's Republic of China on Radio Frequency Allocation ", which has been implemented on 1st July 2023.
06 June 2023 - The Radio Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has published a notice for carrying out the IPv6 protocol capability testing for Wireless LAN equipment that operates at the network layer of the Open Internet System Reference Model (OSI) and has the function of assigning public network IP addresses in products’ Approvals.
02 June 2023 - On 1st June 2023, the Radio Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) issued a public consultation for carrying out tests on WLAN equipment which support IEEE 802.11be.
29 March 2023 - Further to the KPC Regulatory Update dated 13th October 2022, The Certification and Accreditation Administration of P.R.C published an announcement regarding CCC Approval for Li-ion batteries and battery packs for portable electronic equipment on 16th March 2023.
09 February 2023 - Further to the KPC Regulatory Update dated 13th October 2022, The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China published an announcement to reform the Network Access License (NAL) System on 6th February 2023.
09 January 2023 - On 4th January 2023, China Regulator – Radio Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (CMIIT) – released 2 draft regulations regarding radio management for 900 MHz Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Equipment and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) Equipment, and now are open for stakeholder comment.

Colombia
02 November 2023 - On October 30th 2023, the Colombia RF Regulator, Comisión de Regulación de Comunicaciones (CRC), issued a public consultation to participate in the construction of the Regulatory Agenda 2024–2025. The CRC opens the draft of the Regulatory Agenda 2024–2025 to the public, with the aim of enhancing the document by incorporating the needs and expectations of users of communications services, unions, academia, communication industry businesses, and other stakeholders.

Congo, Republic of
14 February 2023 - Kiwa Product Compliance has been advised that the Postal and Electronic Communications Regulatory Agency (ARPCE) of Republic of Congo will require samples as part of the Type Approval application for all devices moving forward, in accordance with Article 7 of Decree n° 2015-254 of 19 February 2015.

Egypt
28 June 2023 - The National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) of Egypt has recently published an updated Type Approval Procedure.
NTRA has reduced the number of approval schemes to three, removing the Guided scheme. The scheme applicable to a certain product depends on the country of manufacturer and the factory location. NTRA has established three categories of countries and a respective scheme to follow. -
El Salvador
25 July 2023 - El Salvador regulator- SIGET (Superintendencia General de Electricidad y Telecomunicaciones) has confirmed to KPC that it has updated their National Frequency Allocation Table (CNAF) through resolution T-0408-2023, allocating 6GHz frequency band (5925 – 7125MHz) for use in WiFi 6E networks.

Gabon
06 September 2023 - Following the military coup in Gabon on 30th August 2023 and ongoing discussions with local partners, Kiwa Product Compliance understand that Gabon Regulator - L'Autorité de Régulation des Communications Électroniques et des Postes du Gabon (ARCEP) – are currently operating as usual. As such, no delays to the Type Approval process are currently expected.
30 August 2023 - Following recent presidential elections in the country, a military coup attempt was announced on 30th August 2023.
While it is unclear at this stage as to whether / how the Authority – L'Autorité de Régulation des Communications Électroniques et des Postes du Gabon (ARCEP) – will be impacted, Kiwa Product Compliance expect delays to the Type Approval process in the country due to the political unrest. -
Ghana
10 November 2023 - Kiwa Product Compliance have recently been made aware of Type Approval delays at Ghana Regulator – National Communications Authority (NCA). This is due to a change in the NCA review process, with an extra layer of review now required by the NCA Technical Committee.

Guinea
18 December 23 - Guinea RF Authority – Autorité de Régulation des Postes et Télécommunications (ARPT) – is temporarily closed following an explosion at a fuel depot in the Kaloum neighbourhood. From discussions with local contacts, public and private services in this area are closed until further notice, including the ARPT.

Hong Kong
30 August 2023 - On 18th July 2023, the Office of the Communication Authority (OFCA) in Hong Kong issued a new version of the HKCA 1057 standard - Performance Specification for User Equipment for Use in Public Mobile Communications Services based on Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access (E-UTRA) Frequency Division Duplex (FDD).
26 July 2023 - On 18th July 2023, the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development (SCED) and the Communications Authority (CA) of Hong Kong issued a public consultation on proposed arrangements for assigning bands 6570 – 6770 MHz and 6910 – 7125 MHz for the provision of public mobile services, and the methods for setting the related spectrum utilisation fee (SUF).
30 March 2023 - On 28th March 2023, Hong Kong Regulator – Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) – released a standard on Type Acceptance Criteria: TAC012 - 5G New Radio Repeater Equipment Operating below 6 GHz.

28 September 2023 - Indian Regulator - Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) - has issued a formal notification to announce the extension of the mandatory certification deadline for multiple products (Essential Requirements) covered under MTCTE.
21 August 2023 - The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, released Notification No. 23/2023-DGFT, dated 3rd August 2023 which informs of changes in the import policy for specific items.
27 June 2023 - On 23rd June 2023, Indian Regulator - Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) has issued a formal notification to announce the extension of the date for mandatory testing and certification of Telecommunication Equipment (MTCTE) Phase III and IV products (Essential Requirements).
04 April 2023 - On 29th March 2023, the Telecommunications Engineering Centre (TEC) have released a notification advising that there are a few parameters in 3 Essential Requirements that can be treated as ‘Not Applicable’ with immediate effect, until further notice.
10 March 2023 - TEC - On 27th February 2023, the Telecommunication Engineering Centre have notified the start date of acceptance of applications to include security testing under Mandatory Testing and Certification of Telecommunication Equipment (MTCTE) for WiFi CPEs and IP Router, which is from 1st July 2023.
18 January 2023 - The Indian Department of Telecommunications (DOT) have released an updated National Frequency Allocation Plan - NFAP 2022.
16 January 2023 - TEC - The Telecommunications Engineering Centre (TEC) have released a notification advising that valid reports or certificates from an India BIS recognised laboratory issued can be submitted under the Mandatory Testing and Certification of Telecommunications Equipment scheme. The standard(s) tested to needs to align with the safety standard(s) listed in the relevant Essential Requirement.
11 January 2023 - BIS - The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) held a Stakeholder meeting on 29th December 2022 regarding the proposal to change the current CRS standard mark mandated to be included for BIS Approved products, to the previous ISI mark.

Indonesia
15 November 2023 -
1) On 07th November 2023, the Directorate General of Resources and Equipment of Post and Information Technology of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology has issued the Draft Decree concerning technical requirements for non-cellular low power wide area network (LPWAN) telecommunication devices. Suggestions, input and responses to the Draft can be submitted no later than 17th November 2023 via email.
2) The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of the Republic of Indonesia has issued a Draft Regulation concerning the certification of Telecommunication Equipment, as a replacement for existing Regulation PM KOMINFO No. 16 of 2018.
09 November 2023 - On 03rd November 2023, the Indonesian Authority, Ministry of Communication and Information have opened a public consultation concerning the establishment of test labs for certification of Telecommunications Equipment.
24 Octpober 2023 - On 19 October 2023, the Indonesian Authority, Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika (SDPPI) have opened a public consultation concerning Technical Standards for Telecommunication Equipment Antenna.
26 September 2023 - On 19th September 2023, the Indonesian Authority, Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika (SDPPI) have opened a public consultation regarding the draft technical standards for telecommunication equipment and mobile devices based on Long Term Evolution (LTE) and International Mobile Telecommunications (IMT) in Indonesia.
29 August 2023 - Further to the KPC Regulatory Updates issued on 17th January 2023 and 07th July 2023, the Indonesian Authority, Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika (SDPPI) have opened a public consultation regarding the implementation of mandatory Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) testing as a certification requirement for certain telecommunication devices used in Indonesia.
14 July 2023 - The Indonesian Regulator – Sumber Daya Dan Perangkat Pos Dan Informatika (SDPPI) – have opened a public consultation on a new draft regulation for short range devices – Tahun 161.
07 July 2023 - Further to the KPC Regulatory Updates issued on 17th January 2023, the Indonesian Authority, Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika (SDPPI) have recently provided updates on the implementation of local SAR testing.
17 January 2023 - On 4th January 2022, the Indonesian Regulator – Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika (SDPPI) – opened a public consultation for mandatory SAR testing for telecommunication equipment.

Iraq
09 June 2023 - The Communications and Media Commission (CMC) of Iraq have recently issued a Type Approval regulation. Although the Type Approval process remains largely unchanged, the most notable points covered by the regulation are family approval granted for models sharing the same technical specifications, sample requirements, licensing may apply to certain High Power radio communications equipment, and Procedures and requirements for importing products into Iraq.

Israel
09 October 2023 - The ongoing conflict in Israel may cause delays to the Approval process at the Ministry of Communications (MoC) and the Standards Institution of Israel (SII). KPC has received information that both MoC and SII remain open for regular business operations for now. Kiwa Product Compliance will continue to proactively monitor the situation and communicate any further updates accordingly.

Ivory Coast
07 March 2023 - Kiwa Product Compliance has been advised by the Ivory Coast Regulator - Autorité de Régulation des Télécommunications de Côte d'Ivoire (ARTCI) that samples are no longer required for new or renewal Type Approval applications.

14 December 2023 - On 8th November 2023, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) issued MIC Notification No. 373 of 2023, which is a partial revision of the MIC Notification No. 88 of 2004 Appendix No.43 - the Technical Regulation for 2.4GHz.
20 July 2023 - On 30th June 2023, the Japan Regulator – Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) opened a public consultation on draft ministerial ordinance for partial revision of Radio Equipment Regulation.
07 June 2023 - The Japan Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications have proposed to amend the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Radio Act to introduce technical requirements for digital cordless telephones using DECT system and TD LTE system in Japan.

20 December 2023 - On 4th December 2023, the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) in Jordan opened a public consultation on their draft instructions for obtaining Type Approval.
03 October 2023 - On 30th August 2023, the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) in Jordan released updated guidelines on the use of radio frequency allocated for short range devices (SRD).
09 June 2023 - On 14th May 2023, the Jordanian Permanent Technical Committee for Energy Efficiency and Management issued a draft Technical Regulation establishing eco-design requirements for different products, such as:

13 July 2023 - On 11th June 2023, the Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) issued Resolution 297/2023 regarding the suspension of the import of telecommunications terminal devices that operate only on 2G and/or 3G networks into Kuwait.

Laos
31 July 2023 - Further to the Kiwa Product Compliance Regulatory Update of 14th June 2023, the Ministry of Technology and Communications of Laos (MTC) issued a further Regulation, Notification 0416, regarding updated labelling requirements and management of Telecommunications and ICT equipment, which will be mandatorily implemented on 4th August 2023.
14 June 2023 - Laos Regulator - The Ministry of Technology and Communications (MTC) - have issued a new regulation, Circular No. 3583, regarding the management of Telecommunications and ICT equipment, which came into effect on 1st May 2023. Some of the main changes are the validity of new Approval certificates, an additional scheme, one for ype 1 products, and one scheme fpr Type 2 products and the labelling requirements.

20 December 2023 - On 12 December 2023, the Communications and Informatics Authority of Libya issued Circular No. (02) of 2023 regarding the import of communications and informatics devices and equipment.

Malaysia
19 December 2023 - On 12th December 2023, the Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) published an announcement regarding the renewal of certificates of conformity (CoC) that have expired for more than six months since the current expiry date.
08 September 2023 - On 28th August 2022, The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) released a new Class Assignment No. 1 of 2023, superseding Class Assignment No. 2 of 2022.
24 July 2023 - Further to the KPC Regulatory Update issued on 14th July 2022 regarding the extension of interim IPv6 Approval for cellular only devices, the Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) again extended the interim Type Approval for IPv6 cellular equipment without WiFi interface or IPv6 equipment over other medium (e.g: fiber optic etc. except Ethernet LAN) for another year, from 10th July 2023 until further notice.

03 April 2023 - Following participation in the World Summit Information Society (WSIS) High-Level Policy Forum 2023, the Information and Communication Technologies Authority of Mauritius (ICTA) have issued a Press Communiqué confirming that the Authority is working on new telecom network security regulations with the assistance of the Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

23 November 2023 - Mexican RF Regulator – Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFT) – will be closed for business from 21st December 2023 until 05th January 2024 inclusive for their annual Christmas closure. During this period, no Type Approval applications will be able to be submitted to IFT and application reviews will be on hold.
20 September 2023 - The Mexican Regulator – Secretariat of Economy (SE) issued document, DGN.191.01.2023.2199, that updates the guidelines issued in May 2018 for No. DGN.312.01.2018.1561 regarding surveillance process for safety renewals.
08 August 2023 - On 04 August 2023, the Mexican RF Regulator – Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFT) published the Draft Guidelines for the use of the IFT Label for approved products of telecommunications or broadcasting.
The main objectives are to add an easily recognizable logo to the marking or labelling, and to establish the specifications and requirements of said label.28 June 2023 - On 23 June 2023, the Mexican RF Regulator – Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones- (IFT) published a Public Consultation for the modification of DT IFT-011-2022 Part 3 for Cellular Broadcasting Services.
05 June 2023 - Mexican RF Regulator – Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFT) – will be closed for business from 17th July until 28th July 2023 inclusive for their annual holiday period. During this period, no Type Approval applications will be able to be submitted to IFT and application reviews will be on hold.
30 May 2023 - On 25th May 2023, the Mexican Secretariat of Economy (SE) revoked documents 414.2020.827 and 414.2020.963 relating to the importation of goods subject to compliance with Official Mexican Standards (NOMs) issued in 2020, as temporary measures for importing products due to the impact of COVID-19.
10 March 2023 - Further to the KPC regulatory Update on 20th February 2023, Mexican RF Regulator – Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFT) – published a regulation on 7th March 2023 stablishing the technical operating conditions of band 5925-6425 MHz.
20 February 2023 - Further to the KPC Regulatory Updates of 2021 and 2022 regarding WiFi 6E public consultations, the Mexican RF Regulator – Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFT) – have published a press release identifying band 5925-6425 MHz as unlicenced.
17 February 2023 - Mexican RF Regulator – Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFT) – have published the complete list of Public Consultations scheduled for 2023 on their official website.

Nepal
21 November 2023 - Nepal Regulator - Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) - published their new frequency policy on 3rd November 2023.
24 May 2023 - On 15th May 2023, the Nepal Telecommunication Authority (NTA) published a notice informing that the registration of IMEI numbers as part of the Mobile Device Management System (MDMS) is now mandatory. From our discussions locally, this requirement applies to all devices that support cellular communication, not just Mobile handsets.

06 December 2023 - On 27th November 2023, Peru RF Regulator, Ministerio de Trasportes y Comunicacion (MTC), issued the Resolución Ministerial N.° 1685-2023-MTC/01.03. The Resolution contains a draft project that seeks to modify specific sections of the Annex related to the operational conditions of telecommunication services using various frequency bands. The proposed changes aim to address limitations in the current configuration of power levels in the 5GHz band.

08 August 2023 - On 6 August 2023, the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CSITC) and the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) announced the decision of unifying charging ports for mobile phones and electronic devices to USB Type-C. This is expected to reduce the amount of domestic consumption of chargers and electronic waste by 15 tons annually.
27 April 2023 - On 10th April 2023, The Communications, Space and Technology (CST) of Saudi Arabia published the Information Memorandum for the Specialized Radio Network License in the 450 MHz band. The main objective is to allocate a 450 MHz Radio Licence to help initiate a national specialised communications network for the various national sectors.

11 October 2023 - Further to the KPC Regulatory update from 2 October 2023 announcing the strike at South Africa RF Regulator - Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA), Kiwa Product Compliance have been made aware that ICASA has reached an agreement with employees to end the strike.

02 November 2023 - On 23rd October 2023, the Minister of Information and Communications (MIC) of Vietnam has opened a public consultation on “Band planning 1710-1785 MHz and 1805-1880 MHz for Vietnam's IMT mobile communication system”.
30 October 2023 - The Minister of Information and Communications (MIC) of Vietnam promulgated a draft Circular on National Technical Regulations concerning land mobile communication terminals – Radio access section. The draft circular introduces new standard QCVN117:2023/BTTTT which will replace for QCVN117:2020/BTTTT for 2G, 3G, 4G. It is expected that this draft will take effect from 1st March 2024 and be mandatory from 1st July 2024.
26 September 2023 - Further to the KPC Regulatory Update of 6th September 2023, Vietnamese Regulator – Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) have officially issued Circular 10/2023/TT-BTTTT.
06 September 2023 - The Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) of Vietnam are working on a draft Circular, which aims to temporarily suspend the implementation of a number of provisions of Circular No. 04/2023/TT-BTTTT.
