These procedures cover any Equipment used or to be used in connection with the provision of radio communications, unless explicitly exempted by ATRA.

02 December 2021 - Further to the PCS Regulatory Update of 19th October 2021 relating to Resolution 1038/2021 and Approvals for electrical equipment, PCS have received further information from in-country contacts concerning the implementation of the revised validity periods.
19 October 2021 - The Argentine Regulator – Ministerio de Produccion, Secretaria de Comercio - has published Resolution 1038/2021 related to Approvals for electrical equipment.
07 September 2021 - ENACOM (ENTE NACIONAL DE COMUNICACIONES) - published Resolution 1248/2021 on 1st September 2021, recognizing INTI National Lab as an accredited test laboratory for the following RF testing standards.
07 June 2021 - Further to the PCS Regulatory Update of 13th August 2020 regarding the introduction of Resolución 854/2020 outlining new labelling requirements, PCS would like to remind customers that all new products will need to adhere to the new labelling requirements by 12th August 2022.
05 February 2021 - Further to the PCS Regulatory Update dated 22nd December 2020, Argentine Regulator – Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) – have extended the deadline for the public consultation regarding the 5925 - 6425 MHz band until 17th February 2021.

19 November 2021 - On 17th November 2021, the Australian Communications and Media Authority released two new public consultations.
19 October 2021 - On 18th October, Australian Regulator – Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) - announced a new public consultation IFC 37/2021, inviting submissions of comments from any interested parties.
07 September 2021 - On 27th August 2021, the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) released a public consultation which covers options for use of spectrum in urban excise areas and updates to the s.145(4) determination, receiver spurious emission limits and RALI MS44.

Bahrain
16 March 2021 - From recent discussion with local partners, PCS can confirm that as of February 2021, the Directorate of Wireless Licensing, Frequency & Monitoring (DWLF&M) in Bahrain has merged with the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) and as such will now be known as a single, consolidated entity – Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA).

22 November 2021 - The Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority – BOCRA – have published a draft public consultation on Type Approval Repair Services Providers Guidelines.
30 July 2021 - Further to the PCS Regulatory Update of 26th January 2021, the Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA) have issued their latest version of the Type Approval verification guidelines for SIM enabled devices.
26 January 2021 - After holding a workshop for all stakeholders on 19th November 2020 to discuss the implementation of a new Type Approval Verification system for SIM enabled devices, the Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA) has now published the official guidelines

30 November 2021 - Further to the PCS Regulatory Update of 10th May 2021, the Brazilian Regulator - Agência Nacional De Telecomunicações (ANATEL) – issued Official Notice 233/2021 on 29th November 2021 in support of public health emergency measures to help reduce the impact on certification and maintenance activities.
08 November 2021 - On 25th October 2021, Brazilian Regulator - Agência Nacional De Telecomunicações (ANATEL) - released new ACT No. 9435 and an update to ACT No. 3153, revising the technical requirements for Transceiver Conformity Assessment Validation for Radio Base stations.
16 September 2021 - On 1st and 8th September 2021, Brazilian Regulator - Agência Nacional De Telecomunicações (ANATEL) - announced 2 new Public Consultations, inviting submission of comments.

15 July 2021 - On 29th June 2021, Brazilian Regulator - Agência Nacional De Telecomunicações (ANATEL) issued official letter No. 112/2021. This is an additional guideline for SAR compliance tests requirements provided in ACT No. 1630 of March 11, 2021.
18 June 2021 - On 10th June 2021 Brazilian Regulator - Agência Nacional De Telecomunicações (ANATEL) announced Public Consultations 29 and 30 for submission of comments.
14 June 2021 - Further to PCS’ Regulatory Update on 29th March 2021, Brazilian Regulator – Agência Nacional De Telecomunicações (ANATEL) – released Act 3939 on 8th June 2021, outlining the procedure to apply for certain types of products that do not need local testing in Brazil and instead use foreign test reports.

21 May 2021 - On 11th and 17th May, Brazilian Regulator - Agência Nacional De Telecomunicações (ANATEL) announced Public Consultations 23 and 25 for submission of comments.
10 May 2021 - Further to the PCS Regulatory Update of 23rd December, the Brazilian Regulator - Agência Nacional De Telecomunicações (ANATEL) – issued Official Notice 65/2021 on 7th May 2021 in support of public health emergency measures to help reduce the impact on certification and maintenance activities.
13 April 2021 - On 7th of April 2020, Brazilian Regulator - Agência Nacional De Telecomunicações (ANATEL) opened a public consultation which aims to establish and regulate the technical and operational requirements necessary for satellite communications systems (either Brazilian or foreign) operating over the Brazilian territory.
29 March 2021 - On 23rd and 26th March Brazilian Regulator - Agência Nacional De Telecomunicações (ANATEL) released 2 Public consultations:
- Public Consultation No. 11 outlining the Operational Procedure for Product Homologation for Telecommunications by Declaration of Conformity with Test report
- Public Consultation No. 14 concerning an update to the requirements for assessing the technical compliance of Transceivers for Radio Base Stations.18 March 2021 - Further to the PCS Regulatory Update of 14th October 2020 concerning Brazil ANATEL’s public consultation no. 69 regarding the SAR Testing Procedures for Telecommunications products, PCS can now confirm that the final regulation – Act 1630 – was issued on 11th March 2021. This also revokes previous SAR Act no. 955 of February 8, 2018.
12 March 2021 - On 9th March 2021, Brazilian Regulator - Agência Nacional De Telecomunicações (ANATEL) published Act No. 1477 establishing the technical and operational requirements for the use of the 3,300 MHz - 3,700 MHz band. This frequency range will be used for 5G NR (band n78).
03 March 2021 - Further to the PCS Regulatory Update of 16th December regarding a public consultation for equipment operating in the 5.925 – 7.125 GHz band, PCS can now confirm that the final regulation – Act 1306 - was issued on 26th February 2021.
26 January 2021 - On 20th January 2021, Brazilian Regulator – Agência Nacional De Telecomunicações (ANATEL) – issued official letter Anatel nº 12/2021/ORCN/SOR-ANATEL. This letter extends the deadline stipulated for the delivery of complementary tests related to the evaluation of 5G technology, set forth in official letter 598/2020.
19 January 2021 - On 5th January 2021, the Brazilian Regulator - Agência Nacional De Telecomunicações (ANATEL) – released Act 77, establishing requirements and guidelines for cybersecurity, in the aim of minimizing the risk of vulnerabilities in Telecommunications equipment.
08 January 2021 - With regards to the Brazilian regulator – ANATEL – manufacturers are reminded that ACT No. 4082 of 31st July 2020 and ACT No. 4083 of 31st July 2020 will come into force on 31st January 2021.

18 August 2021 - On 27th July 2021, modifications to Chile’s Type Approval Regulation – Resolución 1985 – were published in the National Congress Library of Chile (Biblioteca del Congreso Nacional de Chile) under the Resolución 1321 EXENTA.

07 December 2021 - Further to the PCS Regulatory Update dated 7th April 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China (MIIT) have released official regulation of Automotive Radar in 76 - 79 GHz band, which will take effect from 1st March 2022.
02 November 2021 - The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China (MIIT) have released an official regulation including technical requirements for 2.4GHz, 5.1GHz and 5.8GHz frequency bands, which will take effect from 1st January 2022.
07 June 2021 - On 1st June 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China (MIIT) released the Guideline for Industrial and Internet of Things (IoT) Radio Frequency Usage (2021 version). The Guideline is a summary of existing regulations and has no change to any existing requirements.
07 April 2021 - On 31st March 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China (MIIT) released a public consultation on the draft regulation of Automotive Radar operating in 76-79 band. The deadline for comments or suggestions is 6th May 2021.
29 January 2021 - On 27th January 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China (MIIT) released a public consultation on the new regulation (draft version) of 2400-2483.5MHz, 5150-5350MHz and 5725-5850MHz bands.

Colombia
07 July 2021 - Recently, the Colombian Regulator - National Agency for the Spectrum (ANE) - released a public consultation which proposes a modification to expand the free-use spectrum.
25 January 2021 - Further to the PCS Regulatory update dated 11th January 2021, the Colombian Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies (MINTIC) and the National Agency for the Spectrum (ANE) – have extended the deadline for the public consultation concerning the use of 5G and / or WiFi 6 technology to 29th January 2021.
11 January 2021 - On 16th December 2020, The Colombian Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies (MINTIC) and the National Agency for the Spectrum (ANE) – released a public consultation which proposes alternatives for the use of the 6GHz band, with the aim to incentivize the development of upcoming technologies including 5G and / or WiFi 6 technology.

Costa Rica
07 May 2021 - On 30th April 2021, Costa Rican RF Regulator - Superintendencia de Telecomunicaciones (SUTEL) - released amendments to the National Frequency Allocation Plan. The changes are effective immediately.

Dominican Republic
31 March 2021 - The Dominican Republic RF Regulator - Instituto Dominicano de las Telecomunicaciones - (Indotel) has announced for a public consultation regarding amendments to the General Telecommunications Law 153-98. It will close on the 31st May 2021.

EAC Customs Union
05 July 2021 - In addition to PCS’ Regulatory Update issued on 10 February 2021 concerning listing GLN (Global Location Number) and GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) in EAC Declarations registered via Russian local holders, on 19 June 2021 the Russian Government issued Decision No 936 confirming delay in implementation of requirements listing GLN (Global Location Number) from 1 July 2021 to 1 September 2021.
10 February 2021 - In addition to PCS’ Regulatory Update issued on 08 December 2020 concerning EAC Declaration registration procedure via Russian Certification Bodies, on 04 February 2021 the Russian Accreditation Authority agreed on some changes to Decree 877 concerning listing of GLN (Global Location Number) and GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) in EAC Declarations registered via Russian certification holders.
03 February 2021 - Following a Eurasian Commission meeting on 29th January 2021, the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission has now agreed to postpone the implementation of EAEC TR 048/2019 technical regulation on Energy Efficiency.

26 July 2021 - On 12th July 2021, Regional RF Regulator - Eastern Caribbean Telecommunications Authority (ECTEL) - issued a public consultation regarding an update to its Regional Spectrum Management Plan, which covers the countries Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

13 July 2021 - The National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) of Egypt has published recently two new regulatory documents concerning new SRD guideleines and published a new National Frequency Allocation Plan.

08 December 2021 - Hong Kong Regulator – Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) have released multiple updates on Type Acceptance Criteria’s: TAC007 - 5G New Radio Base Station Equipment Operating below 6GHz Band, TAC008 - 5G New Radio User Equipment Operating below 6GHz Band, TAC009 - 5G New Radio User Equipment for Interworking Operation with other radios, TAC010 - 5G NR, E-UTRA, UTRA AND GSM/EDGE multi-standard radios (MSR) Base Station Equipment Operating below 6GHz and TAC011 - Active Antenna System (AAS) Base Station Equipment Operating below 6GHz.

22 December 2021 - WPC - On 10th December 2021, the Wireless Planning and Coordination Wing (WPC) of the Ministry of Communications of India, published a new regulation for UHF RFID equipment operating in the 865-868 MHz frequency band, called the ‘Use of Low Power Equipment in the Frequency Band 865-868 MHz for Short Range Devices (Exemption from Licence) Rules, 2021’.
10 November 2021 - TEC - The Ministry of Communications department of Telecommunications Engineering Centre have provided clarification between the MTCTE Procedure that was released in May and the latest mandatory date for labelling.

20 September 2021 - BIS - On 10th September 2021, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) issued an advisory for licensees holding BIS certifications under the Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS).
17 September 2021 - BIS – On 1st September 2021, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) issued a clarification on cameras used in medical devices within the scope of the Requirement of Compulsory Registration Order, 2021.
03 August 2021 - BIS - Following PCS Regulatory Update dated 7th April 2021 informing the issuance of a new Order (Electronics and Information Technology Goods (Requirement of Compulsory Registration) Order, 2021), on 1st July 2021, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology announced an amendment to this Order.
25 May 2021 - The India Telecommunications Engineering Centre (TEC) have released an updated procedure for Mandatory Testing and Certification of Telecommunication Equipment (MTCTE). The original procedure was released in October 2018.
07 April 2021 - The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), who oversees the entire safety scheme in India, has issued a notification that a new order has been issued entitled: Electronics and Information Technology Goods (Requirement of Compulsory Registration) Order, 2021
16 March 2021 - Following PCS’ Regulatory Update dated 2nd October 2020 relating to the addition of further product categories requiring mandatory certification under the Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS), the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) announced an extension to the implementation date of mandatory CRS requirements.
03 March 2021 - On 26th February 2021, India’s RF Regulator, Wireless Planning and Coordination Wing (WPC), announced the formation of a committee to review and revise India’s existing National Frequency Allocation Plan (2018).
02 March 2021 - Further to PCS’ 2020 Regulatory Updates, issued on 31st July and 4th September, the Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) announced that they are accepting further nominations from interested stakeholders for involvement in the Mandatory Testing Consultative Forum (MATCOF) of the Mobile Technologies Division of TEC.

08 June 2021 - Further to PCS’ Regulatory Update on 28 January 2021, the Indonesian Regulator – Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika (SDPPI) – released a clarifying statement on 07 June 2021 relating to regulation 11 Tahun 2021, regarding requirements for acceptance of test reports from foreign accredited laboratories for use in paperwork-only applications.
10 May 2021 - On 3rd May 2021, the Indonesian Regulator – Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika (SDPPI) – released 5 Tahun 2021, outlining requirements for devices that contain 5G technology.
28 January 2021 - Further to PCS’s Regulatory Update dated 27th July 2020, the Indonesian Regulator - Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika (SDPPI) – has updated the accredited laboratories list whereby a paperwork Type Approval application process can be followed.

Israel
06 August 2021 - Upon discussions with local partners, PCS has been informed that the Israeli RF Regulator – Ministry of Communications (MoC) – and the Israeli Safety Regulator – the Standards Institution of Israel (SII) – will be closing between 6th September and 15th September 2021 for Yom Kippur, and then again between 20th September and 28th September 2021 for Sukkot.
01 July 2021 - On 27th June 2021, Israeli RF Regulator –Ministry of Communications (MoC) – announced it has decided to shut down 2G and 3G networks in a gradual process, running until the end of 2025. Starting in January 2022, the import of equipment supporting these networks will not be permitted, and new devices will gradually be prohibited from entering the old networks until full closure.
18 March 2021 - On 8th March 2021, the Israeli RF Regulator - Ministry of Communications (MoC) released a new exemption list under the name of ‘Easing regulation on imports of wireless products to Israel’ listing further exemptions from mandatory RF Type Approval.
10 March 2021 - RF Regulator – Ministry of Communications (MoC) – and Safety Regulator – the Standards Institution of Israel (SII) – will be closing from 27th March 2021 to 4th April 2021 inclusive, during the upcoming Passover holiday. During this period, no Type Approval applications will be able to be submitted to MoC and/or SII and delays will be incurred for all applications under review.

11 October 2021 - On 21st September 2021 the Communications Authority of Kenya published a public consultation on the Type Approval of Mobile Phone Signal Repeaters.
18 August 2021 - Upon discussions with the Communications Authority of Kenya (CAK), PCS has been informed that non-RF devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, network phones, etc. will no longer receive a Provisional Type Approval Certificate valid for 6 months.
18 May 2021 - On 4th May 2021, the Communications Authority of Kenya (CAK) published a Public Consultation on its IPv6 Migration Strategy.
14 May 2021 - On 11th May 2021, the Communications Authority of Kenya (CAK) announced a Public Consultation on the draft framework for Licensing and Shared Spectrum Framework for Community Networks.
31 March 2021 - On 23rd March 2021, the Communications Authority of Kenya (CAK) published a public consultation on the Draft Guidelines On Features And Technical Specifications For Mobile Cellular Devices Imported Into And Distributed In Kenya.

02 March 2021 - The Communications and Information Technology Regulatory Authority of Kuwait (CITRA) have published the documents “Technical standards for ICT equipment Connected to Public Telecommunication Network” which lists applicable technical standards for different categories of ICT equipment in Kuwait.

28 December 2021 - On 23rd December 2021, the Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) have released an announcement regarding certification and renewal approach to be carried out for 3G devices that integrated with other technologies (2G, 4G and/or 5G) after the sunsetting of the 3G network by 31st December 2021.
06 December 2021 - On 26th November 2021, the Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) announced that certification of 6GHz frequency band for Wi-Fi is not permitted in Malaysia as the use of this technology is still being reviewed by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
On 25th November 2021, the Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) announced further updates to the mandatory requirements of the marketing name for Type Approval application.
29 October 2021 - On 28th October 2021, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) released three new draft technical codes.
20 October 2021 - On 15th October 2021, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) released an FAQ on cloud service regulation to increase accountability for user data security and sustainability of cloud services.
15 October 2021 - On 13th October 2021, Standards & Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) announced that Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) approved and published Technical Codes for both IMT-2020 (Fifth Generation) User Equipment (5G UE) and IMT-2020 Base Station (5G BS) on 24th August 2021.
On 13th October 2021, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) released public consultations for two draft Technical Codes on IPv6 and LTE.
19 August 2021 - On 12th August 2021, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) released a public consultation for the use of 6GHz WLAN in Malaysia.
03 August 2021 - On 16th July 2021, Malaysian certification body – SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd – requested all certificate holders to complete a declaration stating compliance with SIRIM’s terms and conditions for Type Approval. The completed declaration must then be posted to SIRIM’s address.
19 July 2021 - On 14th July 2021, the Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) have extended the interim Approval period for IPv6 cellular equipment without WiFi interface from 10th July 2021 until further notice.
On 10th July 2021, the Standard and Industrial Research Institute for Malaysia (SIRIM) implemented new requirements for certification of Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) - Active Indoor Antenna and IPv6.

14 January 2021 - Further to the information mentioned in PCS Q03 2020 Newsletter regarding the plans for the Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) to implement a new format of labelling (TIS mark with QR code), it is confirmed that the new TISI labelling implementation has been officially approved and published on the government website on 5th January 2021.

Ukraine
15 July 2021 - On 30th June, Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture adopted amendments to RoHS Technical Regulation limiting the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. This decision will bring Ukrainian Technical Regulation in line with European standards and is a further step to eliminate technical barriers to trade between Ukraine and the EU and other countries.
11 February 2021 - Following Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2020/659 of 15 May 2020, Ukraine’s Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture issued Order #84-21 of 18 January 2021 which Approves the list of national standards for the application of Technical Regulation for the Restriction of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS).
03 February 2021 - In accordance with Order #309 of 22 February 2019 from Ukraine’s Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, as of 20th December 2020, the national safety standard ДСТУ EN 62368-1:2017 will come into effect and replace previous standards EN 60065:2014 + A11:2017 and EN 60950-1:2006 + A11:2009 + A12:2011 + A1:2010 + A2:2013.

United Arab Emirates
19 November 2021 - On 3rd November 2021, the UAE’s Ministry of Industry & Advanced Technology (MoIAT) also known as ESMA, announced a new interim certification period for Electrical and Electronics Equipment (EEE) for UAE RoHS. The interim period is from 4th November 2021 to 31st December 2021.
04 November 2021 - Emirates Authority for Standardization & Metrology (ESMA) have issued the supplementary rules for IEC62368-1 edition relating to IT/AV equipment which is subject to UAE’s LVE regulation. As a reminder, the supplementary rule of IEC62368-1:2018 (3rd Edition) will take effect from 20th December 2021.
10 May 2021 - On 12th April 2021, the UAE RF Authority announced its new brand identity as Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA). As such, Type Approval applications will now be processed by the TDRA. There is no immediate impact on the Type Approval procedure or labelling requirements in UAE.
4 January 2021 - Further to the PCS Regulatory Update dated 19th August 2020, the UAE Regulator – Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) - published Ultra-Wide Band and Short-Range Devices (UWB and SRD) Regulation Version 4.0 on 22nd December 2020. The new regulation took effect immediately.

08 November 2021 - Further to the PCS Regulatory Update dated 19th March 2021, the Vietnamese Regulator – Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) – have issued new Circular 11/2021/TT-BTTTT which introduces a new national technical regulation on radio access equipment in the 5 GHz band, QCVN 65:2021/BTTTT.
Further to the PCS Regulatory Update dated 22nd March 2021, the Vietnamese Regulator – Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) – have issued new Circular 10/2021 / TT-BTTTT which introduces a new national technical regulation on Short Range Device (SRD) – Radio equipment to be used in the 40 GHz to 246 GHz frequency range, QCVN 123:2021/BTTTT.
Further to the PCS Regulatory Update dated 09th April 2021, the Vietnamese Regulator – Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) – have issued new Circular 08/2021/TT-BTTTT, regulation on the list of radio equipment exempted from the license to use radio frequencies and accompanying technical and operational conditions.
26 October 2021 - Further to the PCS Regulatory Update dated 22nd March 2021, the Vietnamese Regulator – Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) – have issued new Circular 09/2021 / TT-BTTTT which introduces a new national technical regulation on radar equipment operating in the frequency range 76 – 77 GHz for ground based vehicles, QCVN 124:2021/BTTTT.
17 September 2021 - Further to the PCS Regulatory Update dated 22nd March 2021, the Vietnamese Regulator – Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) – have issued new Circular 06/2021/TT-BTTTT which introduces a new national technical regulation on Standalone 5G User Equipment - Radio Access, QCVN127:2021/BTTTT.
28 July 2021 - On 19th July 2021, the Vietnamese Regulator – Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) – published two draft Circulars: “National technical regulation on electrical safety requirements for terminal equipment connected to telecommunications and information technology networks” & “National technical regulation on non-Standalone 5G User Equipment - Radio Access”.
01 June 2021 - Further to the PCS Regulatory Update of 12th March 2021, Vietnamese Regulator – Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) – officially issued Circular 01/2021/TT-BTTTT on 14th May 2021. This amends and supplements Circular No. 11/2020/TT-BTTTT dated 14th May 2020 –Regulations on list of products subject to MIC Type Approval Certification and Declaration of Conformity.
09 April 2021 - Further to the PCS Regulatory Update of 10th January 2019, on 29th March 2021, Vietnamese Regulator – Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) – published a consultation on a draft Circular to replace Circular 46/2016/TT–BTTTT and its amendments, on the List of Frequency Bands which are exempted for License of Use in Vietnam.
22 March 2021 - On 4th March 2021, the Vietnamese Regulator – Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) – published five draft Circulars promulgating new national technical regulations.
19 March 2021 - On 18th March 2021, the Vietnamese Regulator – Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) – published a Draft Circular promulgating “National Technical Regulation on radio access equipment in the 5 GHz band”. This new Circular is expected to take effect from 1st July 2022.
12 March 2021 - On 3rd February 2021, the Vietnamese Regulator – Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) – published a draft Circular to amend and supplement the appendixes of existing Circular 11/2020 / TT-BTTTT – Regulations on list of products subject to Type Approval and SDoC.
21 January 2021 - Further to the PCS Regulatory Update dated 20th July 2020, the Vietnamese Regulator – Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) – have issued new Circular 43/2020/TT-BTTTT which introduces a new national technical regulation on Land Mobile User Equipment – Radio Access, QCVN 117:2020/BTTTT. The new Circular will take effect from 1st July 2021.

27 April 2021 - Further to the PCS Regulatory Update issued on 16th April 2021 regarding new Type Approval guidelines, the Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) has now confirmed that the new guidelines are still in draft stage and they invite stakeholders to submit their comments.
16 April 2021 - On 9th of April, the Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) has released the new Type Approval Guidelines repealing the 2015 Guidelines.
