Course introduction

This training opportunity is designed to update operational staff on animal feed safety issues as well as combinable crops into the food industry.

Training is delivered within Quality Management Systems, HACCP, Internal auditing and record keeping procedures. It also meets the requirements of feed safety schemes and feed safety legislation.

 

Who is the course for?

This training opportunity is designed to keep operational staff up to date on:

  • animal feed/food safety issues
  • feed/food safety schemes
  • their roles and responsibilities within the business

This enhanced understanding will allow staff to become more efficient in their working practices, and reduce the occurrences of complaints and claims.

 

What will delegates take away?

The course covers areas required within feed/food safety schemes and how to include these within your business. This enhanced understanding will aide staff within their roles and their working practices to reduce the occurrences of potential food/feed safety issues.

A training certificate is awarded to delegates which meets animal feed/food safety scheme requirements for training records.

There is a £30 + VAT certificate issue fee per delegate.

At the end of the course, staff will have gained a detailed knowledge of the background and the reasoning for the scheme requirements, and a deeper understanding of the relationships between the feed/food safety assurance schemes. Staff will have a thorough knowledge of the assessment process, and the actions that are required to address any non-conformances.
