The main fields in which our experts provide their services are:
Steam generators
Within the framework of art. 10.2.2. of the Royal Decree of 18/10/1991, concerning the periodicity of legally required internal inspections of steam generators, Vinçotte (a member of the Kiwa group) carries out mandatory periodic inspections of steam generator water with a view to classifying them as group 1, 2 or 3.
- Outside the scope of these regulations, Vinçotte also carries out periodic inspections of boiler plant water, at the operator's request, to determine the quality of pre-treatment, feed water, boiler water, steam and condensate. This provides the operator with an overview of the condition of his plant, as part of safe, economical operation.
- Companies can call on Vinçotte for advice on packaging, the nature and frequency of analyses and automatic measurements.
- We can help you draw up specifications for water treatment plants, carry out acceptance tests or performance tests on installations such as reverse osmosis plants, demineralization stations, thermal deaerators or steam purity measurements.
- We carry out audits in the event of a claim, to determine the causes and prevent recurrence.
Corrosion problems:
- Water-related corrosion studies are carried out in collaboration with Vinçotte's metallography laboratory. To this end, analyses are carried out on both water samples and deposits.
Drinking water, well water, etc.:
- Vinçotte's laboratories are not officially authorized to analyze drinking water, swimming pool water or wastewater. At the request of its customers, Vinçotte nevertheless takes samples in containers packaged according to standardized procedures, while entrusting the analyses to approved laboratories.
- You can also contact us for Legionella analyses.
Advantages
Working with Vinçotte (member of Kiwa Group) brings you a number of advantages: Vinçotte can act as SECT to carry out water inspections under the terms of the Royal Decree of 18/10/1991, which allows customers to adapt the interval between periodic inspections.
Outside the legal framework, we can also carry out controls and analyses in the context of steam generator operation. We are a totally independent company, with no links to suppliers of products, equipment or installations, and provide objective advice on the safe and economical operation of water treatment plants. This may include advice on the choice of the most suitable water pre-treatment, conditioning with simple chemicals, or the equipment required for operator monitoring.
