Kiwa at PRSE 2025 – Shaping the future of recycling and recycled content

With our internationally recognized certification and testing programs, we help businesses:

  • Guarantee the quality of recycled plastics – Through comprehensive testing of mechanical, chemical, and safety properties. . In RecyClass and PSV, requirements are verified according to EN standards, from EN 15342 to EN 15348, and UNI 10667 (Part 1 classifies plastic materials, while Parts 2-19 specify methods and specific requirements for each polymer class). In a RecyClass audit, safety data sheets and compliance with REACH SVHC, REACH restriction, and POP Regulation (when applicable) are verified.
  • Achieve compliance with EU regulations – Including RecyClass certification, ISO standards, and food-grade recycled plastic approvals, as well as the verification of recycled content % in both recycled materials and recycled products. Regarding food-grade recycled plastic approvals, the reference regulation is Regulation (EU) 2022/1616.
  • Improve process efficiency and sustainability – By ensuring the reliability and traceability of recycled materials throughout the entire process, both in the converting from products to recycled materials and in the recycling process, from recycled materials back to their post- or pre-consumer waste origin.
  • Build trust with partners and customers – By verifying that recycled plastics meet the highest industry standards.
