More on UKCA mark
The UKCA mark (UK Conformity Assessed), which came into force on 1 January 2021 as a result of Brexit, is a compulsory mark for placing products on the UK market, i.e. in England, Wales and Scotland. The UKCA mark applies to most products previously subject to CE marking.
In a communication published on 24 August 2021, the UK government has postponed the deadline for CE marking in Great Britain by one year to 1 January 2023. The transition from the Conformité Européenne, or CE, mark to the new United Kingdom Conformity Assessed (UKCA) mark was originally scheduled for the end of 2021.
