Kiwa offers quick check for conversion to IEC 62368-1 standard

On December 20, 2020, standards IEC 60950-1 and IEC 60065-1 will be replaced both within the European Union and in the USA with IEC 62368-1, a new safety standard for ICT and AV equipment. Kiwa Primara offers a quick check for the changeover to IEC 62368-1.

The update to the IEC 62368-1 standard brings many challenges, because the new standard introduces a new set of specifications. Being well prepared here is important for a smooth transition for IT products, power supplies, and audio and video products to meet these specifications.

Kiwa Primara offers a quick check that shows a comparison of which parts of the IEC 62368-1 standard equipment already meets and where there are deviations. This check represents an IST analysis and helps to convert to IEC 62368-1. If the report and the update of the certificate are subsequently ordered, the fee for the short check will be charged accordingly.
