Kiwa Italy opens new Plastic Laboratory in Bologna

Kiwa Italy has established a brand new state of the art Plastic Laboratory in Bologna. The establishment responds to the increasing demand of the constantly evolving Water & Gas sector, with the aim to support companies from Italy and beyond with their business growth and innovation.

From characterizing raw materials to testing finished products, in small sizes or considerable dimensions, the new Plastic Laboratory can respond to the multiple needs of the market.

The totally new test equipment under the competent control of the Kiwa technicians, is interconnected with IoT and in line with the most recent versions of applicable standards. Kiwa guarantees reliability, continuity and precision in the conduct of the tests.

The new testing facility links up with the already existing Kiwa Italy laboratories, among which the solar laboratory in Cormano, the electrical, metrological, mechanical and metallurgical laboratories in Bologna and the testing facility for solid fuel and gaseous fuels in San Vendemiano.

The inauguration of the new Plastic Laboratory will take place on Tuesday 12 November at the headquarters of Kiwa Italia in Bologna.
