The Kiwa-Ecobility Experts (Kiwa-EE) compiles quantitative environmental information on:

• Product level,
• Organization/project level.

Environmental information can be environmental (product) declarations (e.g. EPDs according to EN 15804), environmental footprints (e.g. according to ISO 14067 for CO₂ footprints of a product, according to ISO 14046 for water footprints) and declarations/claims regarding greenhouse gas emissions at organizational, project level (e.g. see ISO 14064-1 /-2).

To ensure credibility and transparency, Kiwa-EE has established a dedicated validation/verification body tailored to specific sectors. Additionally, a structured is in place to uphold integrity and build trust among all stakeholders relying on validation and verification outcomes.

The system is designed to instill confidence in stakeholders by ensuring that validated or verified environmental information (i.e., claims) adheres to the specific requirements outlined in the relevant standards. This guarantees a process that is reliable, transparent, and verifiable. A structured, traceable, and comprehensible approach reinforces trust in impartial and competent assessments.

As program operator, the validation and verification body follows the standard organizational framework within the market while maintaining effective communication with relevant stakeholders. This structure enhances the traceability and reliability of validation, verification, and publication processes, ensuring seamless coordination within the organization.
