The organic sector in the Middle East is developing rapidly. According to organic-market.info, the share of organic food and beverages on the shelves has increased by over 60% in the last 5 years. As one of the largest countries in the Middle East and North Africa region, Saudi Arabia is investing heavily in the development of the organic sector - from rural production to the shelf - and sees it as an important key for the future.

Kiwa BCS has been active in Saudi Arabia for many years, offering certifications according to the local organic standard OSKSA (Organic Standard of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), among others. Kiwa BCS is also accredited in other countries of the MENA region and can offer various organic standards such as EU, NOP or JAS.
