Who is Geomechanical Testing for?

Geomechanical testing is a specialised form of rock and soil testing performed in the preliminary stages of a construction project, as well as during the build. Geomechanical testing is necessary to identify protentional risks and hazards in the soil material, and the results contribute to the overall design of the project.

Kiwa’s industry leading geomechanical testing laboratory is based in Brisbane, Australia. The facility is the preferred critical design partner, providing test data for civil and mining projects across Australia and most parts of the globe.
