The Mini Filter Switch Board is a small pc board with two high quality ceramic filters for mounting within a receiver. It is designed to replace an existing filter by attaching the miniature input and output coax leads to the appropriate input and output solder pads. A toggle switch is provided to toggle between the filter bandwidths. This is normally mounted on the rear chassis wall of the receiver. The Mini Filter Switch Board uses reed relays for switching between filters and to provide high isolation between the selected outputs. The input of the switch board uses a FET for filter drive. The FET has a high input impedance which will not load the IF signal.

Various filter bandwidths are available. Please NOTE" at present we are currently out of stock of narrow filters. We can supply the following filters.
Kiwa "Blue Dot" filter 6.5 kHz
LFH4S 7.5 kHz
LFH6S 8.2 kHz
LFH8S 10.0kHz
Shape Factors of the filters often depend on the specified BW. Nominal Shape Factor (-6 to -60 dB BW ratio) is 1:2.0.

The switch board comes in two models. The standard model is for operating voltages of 7 to 12 VDC. The low voltage model is for operating voltages of 3.5 to 7.0 VDC.
